How do you determine the 'rich?'... is it two cars.. dishwasher... terraced house in Cambridge... or ownership of nursing homes... amongst their other property interests...or estates in Norfolk... Cornwall... Lancaster.... & Scotland... charging peppercorn rent to some & commercial rates to others?...

the even dafter part of this policy is that a huge number of his supporters will be feckless louts of child-producing age.

Thanks again, Tom! You still put my thoughts/reactions into words that actually make coherent sentences so much better than I could.

Rage-fuelled Incandescene and Righteous Indignation at these bastards does not always transform into rational and measured prose.

You manage it!

That's going on for 12 years that I have employed your service and receipts!

Keep up the very good work!

Child poverty is a disgrace anywhere and all children however many siblings they have should be supported. However I do not think anyone should be actively encouraging people to have more children. Climate change and the collapse of ecosystems pose existential threats to human society and the fundamental driver is population growth. Immigtation should be welcomed especially from areas where human life has become unsustainable because of these threats.

To financially and physically support an ageing population we either need the native population to produce more children or we need to welcome young immigrants. Financial incentives to increase the fertility rate, such as particularly in Hungary, haven't worked, but we do need investment to substantially reduce the proportion of young people, usually from poor backgrounds, not in work, education or training.

As a parent £20 or less a week from the government would not be an incentive to have a child. Having children is very expensive. They talk about it like it is an amazing offer. Politicians need to get into the real world. £20 would not even pay for one weeks school dinner or cover a packed lunch for a child. This is just another wedge issue, which is more about racism than anything else.

A person commenting today said, they would be fine with lifting the two-child cap, as long as it only applies to real British people. Not sure what that even means!

Farage has 4 children but he’s rich, so that’s OK. How people can still say they’ll vote for this bastard is totally incomprehensible, to us anyhow. He has no redeeming features whatsoever. Someone told me, well, he’s a great talker, as if that explained everything. Well, I guess to some people it does. He talks well, he’s crap and revolting, but I’m voting for him because he’s a great talker. Hmm, ever thought you might be an idiot?

The age and gender demographics he speaks too, says it all.

Most snake oil salesmen are great talkers but only tend to appeal to an either ignorant, distracted or 'prepared' audience.

Like Ol'Stinky the Pedo-prez, NF has never done anything other than bring out a feeling of visceral dislike towards him.

A feeling of visceral dislike that has greatly increased with time.
