And before I read it, I wondered how a second-rater like Steve Reed or a tyrant like Shabana could be promoted. But it became obvious when I read about the conspiracy and became aware of Starmer''s dictatorial instincts. And their lack of policies, and lack of knowledge of the general public, when the Tories lost (lathough Starmer thinks they "won") is easily explained by the fact that all of their time was spent on destruction and self-regard.

I think the problem with “Your Party” is that it is full of ex-Labour who have been determined to nobble it from the outset, in fact, although I supported the man for a decade, since being party leader, Corbyn’s main work has been to suppress competition to Labour. If Your Party sincerely believed in their stated objectives they would all stand down and tell their supporters to vote green. Their continued presence only discredits the left.
Green Party have made the right tactical decision not to run Polanski. I wonder if Labour were trying to tempt them into it. Would have been funny to rub labour’s faces in it, but if he lost it would be embarrassing and that’s a banana skin well avoided.
Your Party and the Greens need to form some sort of coalition. That way lies some hope perhaps, even if it's a muddle and compromise / diplomacy is required for those running the show. I'm sure lots of disgruntled Labour MPs and supporters will jump on board, much as various Tories are now fleeing to reform.
Yes, in theory, but in practice, firstly I think Your Party have soiled their brand; and secondly I am not convinced that everyone on that ship is sincere: they couldn’t have made themselves look worse if they tried. The most constructive thing they can do now is fold into the greens.
Until September I would have said the opposite; I’m not convinced I trust the greens; I would have preferred a new socialist opposition the day after Starmer took over Labour. But by now Yp have fucked it badly.
