It’s rather like what’s likely to happen here on Thursday - hopefully not with the extreme stupid Reform getting in, but rather with the annihilation of the Tory party (which is no bad thing in my personal opinion).

I don't think it will be the landslide that the media predicted. Labour sadly don't represent a fair society anymore, In my honest opinion. Labour have sold their soul to the Status Quo established society we have let in. Looking further forward, unless we break the parliamentary crap we have now, we will be doomed. No difference in Labour or Tory at the moment. Replacing Labour for Tory is pointless and before anyone says, look what the Torys have done. We are all just pawns being pushed along with the illusion of Democracy.

All this with PR, and they say First past the post is rubbish.

And why isn't it, just because you don't like the result, if this is what the people actually vote for, then yes, it is fairer,Starmer could get a massive majority, under FPTP, is that fair, maybe you should look more at why people are turning to these type of people in the first place, it's all eerily similar to pre WWll, and I assume that's how it will all end, in WWlll

Your regular but ironic reminder that it is those intransigent old leftists who are addicted to factionalism and splinter groups.

Centrists are just laser focussed on winning because, without power, you can do nothing.

The whole of the establishment West will keep socialists out at any cost. I have lived in France for the last fifteen years. Whilst you hit some points, you fail to understand the fury in the provinces at the Scamdemic and the centrist (globalist) attack on agriculture and the way of life by authoritarianism espoused from Brussels. I would expect the 'far left' to join hands around the back with the 'far right' in the next round...

The villages around here have had there name signs upside down to signify protest... Nearly all until recently when another edict came down...

The centre will always go right, even extreme right as they did in Germany in the 1940s, if there is a chance a real left wing party can win.
