Keir Starmer has taken a lot of criticism over his Enoch Powell style "nation of strangers" rhetoric, but this wasn't the only diabolical part of his divisive immigration white paper speech
I know Starmer cleansed the Labour Party of as much of the left as he could. But if at some point there’s a vote of confidence in the pointless bastard, does he have the numbers to stay in power, or are there still enough real Labour MPs to kick his sorry ass out of No 10?
Those of us who have already sussed this out ,don't need to be told. The others aren't listening. Not sure they will ever listen, as there is none so deaf as those who find silence more comforting than hearing things they don't like.
Absolutely spot on Starmer is an inveterate liar, unable to differentiate between truth and lies.we need a leader who has integrity and stands by his word.We unfortunately have a Trump wannabe.
Absolutely horrific speech on top of an equally horrific, immoral government support of funding war crimes in Gaza while demonising immigrants . Disgusted continually.
"It’s stupid and incredibly dangerous to legitimise the extreme-right with anti-immigrant rhetoric, whilst simultaneously relying on mass migration to mitigate the damaging effects of austerity ruination and the debilitating Brexit economic sanctions we imposed on ourselves."
The purpose of the above is so when immigrants do come, they already know they are second class citizens and to be despised. It's a form of social apartheid. As an ethnic minority in the UK, though born here, we've always felt to be lower, our voices have to be louder to be heard, our academic successes greater to get the same jobs. If is an apartheid system that exists in a lite form and which they seem to exacerbate. By doing so they can also bring down the wages of these second class citizens. Even reform's manifesto accepted immigration was needed. They need this semi-slave class, and they want to treat them in horrific ways.
Austerity is also purposeful because if will create a situation where joining the armed forces will be the only stable career choice for young people. Why do you think the armed forces ads are back? Making it look like a summer camp and not a killing machine for corporate interests where you can lose your life or your limbs?
This is the vile Morgan Mcsweeny doing all this populist hard right. Who voted for him? Nobody did. How is that democratic? He is Dominic Cummings all over again. Do these parties have a template? They are the same. He is a lying lowlife. A scumbag and a charlatan
This one was particularly good, Tom, and well complimented by Owen Jones' piece on Starmer's lack of sincerity, any kind of moral compass or principles at all. When Starmer succeeded Jeremy following the psychological warfare offensive and "soft coup" that delivered Johnson to office he at least sounded robust in his opposition to BREXIT (on which Jeremy WAS pretty lukewarm), seemed committed to taxing the rich and returning public utilities to public ownership. In particular, he chastised the Tories for blaming an unprecedented economic and social crisis on immigration rather than the failed neo-liberalism that produced austerity. We'll skip every other promise he broke e.g. on Trans Rights or this "reply" will become an essay.
True, Starmer embraced the fiction that criticism of Israel was anti-Semitism but who thought he would use this to systematically purge Labour's ranks of anything remotely sniffing of socialism with all the zeal of a 17th Century witch-finder general. At the time we knew little about the dark money piling into Labour's coffers, the shadowy links to Mandelson and the Blair Foundation, the skeletons in Starmer's cupboard and the pressures brought on him by the Deep Establishment behind closed doors.
Nonetheless it is ironic that only when Starmer went so far as to DELIBERATELY mimic the rhetoric of Enoch Powell on immigration that not so radical commentators e.g. in THE GUARDIAN and THE MIRROR have started to get twitchy. Up till now they have all but defended his seamless continuation of Tory attacks on the poor and most vulnerable in society, while offering further tax breaks to the rich, his failure to extend public ownership and even looked for positive things to say about a trade deal with Trump! Now AT LAST we have grumbling in The Guardian and Paul McGuire in The Mirror saying that the scrapping of the winter fuel allowance and inhuman treatment of benefit claimants had more impact on voting in recent elections than racist dog-whistling over immigration.
As we've said before and as you reiterate admirably in this piece there are two ways in which Starmer is preparing for a fascist victory under Farage in four years' time. The first is the continuation of the Tories failed and discredited neo-liberal economic polices which means austerity under a new name. The second is allowing fascists to dictate the terms of debate on immigration and even accepting that refugees are a problem category when it is the privately run building industry and property market that creates mass homelessness.
The thing is I don't believe Starmer is THAT stupid nor simply that he's trying to hang on to power at all costs because he must KNOW that he is committing political suicide as well as condemning the Labour Party to oblivion like a drunk driver headed towards a cliff. For myself, I can only believe that he is too compromised and corrupt to care and that, like Blair before him, he has a mission to destroy the Labour Party for which he expects to be rewarded with his thirty pieces of silver in the future.
Starmer didn't mention any policy changes or anything at all really. He pathetically tried to appeal to the people of Britain he's been labelling ad "far right". When in reality people living in staunch labour areas, have been let down the most by this globalist parasite. They will never be "far right" just desperate for anything different from the disastrous Uni party bullshit they've been served by the Tories & now this imposter. The only interest he has is trying to look big on the international stage over the conflict in Ukraine. If he had as much interest in Britain. Maybe just maybe he'd realise he's pissing people off & they can see through him. He's the most pathetic treasonous excuse of a leader people were given a chance to vote for. How anyone could amazes me as he didn't give any mandate of what he intended do. But the people were desperate for change. Instead we got exactly the same.

If Frogmarch is the pound shop Powell then Charmer is a 99 p Enoch and his Zionist itch aint one.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Keir Starmer deserves to be shat on by birds and very time he leaves the house.

We need a new mass socialist party.
A mockery of a sham!!!!!!!!!!!
