The fact that Starmer thinks Athwal is the finest candidate is beyond me this man is the worst kind of parasite. Disgusting conflict of I retests as well. I feel so sorry for his tenants

These new Tories are a disgrace. Shame on this slum landlord, on Keir Starmer and on the whole wretched cabinet.

Yet another reason to condemn Starmer's authoritarian rule.

Landlords as MPs, rotten boroughs. So when do you think Labour will bring workhouses back?

This is sickening and I feel so sorry for the tenants of these disgusting properties. The Labour Party is taking the country back to Victorian times! Child poverty, slum dwellers, poor people unable to afford life’s basics, old people deliberately targeted! We need the unions and others to fight back against Starmer and his nasty party for the people of this country!

I’ve always thought of myself as lefter than Lenin, but I’ve come to the point where I would vote Tory if it meant preventing a right-wing Labourite from winning an election.

Out -torying the actual tories. Starmer and his permanent austerity ideology , will ensure a Fascist like Farage rises to power , as despair and cynicism take root in the working class. History is prologue.

I feel so sorry for these poor tenants. I don’t know what’s happening to this country. I wish I could leave.

The Starmer-Reeves ideology is essentially fascist - merge the interests if the capitalist class with those of the state and they become one. The Tories used to be fools but one could get by. With the coming of Truss and Kwartang the fascist element was exposed. It took a long and winding road to get there. With Labour it took Tony Blair and then full on fascism with Starmer (one too short detour with Corbyn). The question now is will the hard-core, ruthless fascists hold power of will the nut-job fascists get back in - probably under Farage.

I'd imagine the BBC held that investigation "just" late enough for it not to make a difference; but that's another matter.

I'd also imagine that union, as well as others like it, might be dismayed (at the very least) by such a sharp withdrawal of political solidarity as Tarry's deselection.

Perhaps they would consider responding in kind to Starmer's regime; if the opportunity was to show up.

If "Labour" is determined to be Management and Ownership's party...then there's an opening.

Let them leave Athwal and his fellow landlords in place.

They'll make a great "Rogues' Gallery" at the proper time.
