Only too true. Reeves is currently my MP. I send her emails at least every week about some cause or petition, asking her to help, vote, support etc. She replies, but only with the usual words and policies. People round here say she's "Nice to talk to". I point out that actions, not words, are the important thing.

Is it to be our only hope that, in the event of Labour achieving power, their policies will prove just as disposable after the GE as they were before...?

Ffs, I was hoping their "tough decisions" were going to be where to INVEST the money ffs.

Well written piece AAV. I will not be voting for any of the establishment parties for more of the same austerity. Unless I can find a party to vote for, I will be spoiling my ballot paper.

I’ve decided to vote Green instead of spoiling my ballot paper.

I live in Sir Lindsay Hoyle’s Contituency and since he became speaker we effectively have no MP anymore who we can turn to/rely on for help or to voice concerns etc.

Many constituents feel bitterly let down.

I will vote green if there is a good candidate in my constituency

I shall vote GREEN they at least have policies that I as a socialist can identify with. Reeves is just another bought and paid for traitor to the working class and probably a zionist stooge like starmer.

As I've been saying for some time, choice, the right to vote and have an opinion are just illusions of control, we have none, we are offered poor choices and then expected to pick the best of a bad lot!

The liebour party is no better than the tories and is getting worse by the day, at least the tories have the balls to p**s on us and say that's what they're doing, liebour would have us believe it's raining!

I would vote Green but they seem to be in self destruct mode at the moment and their candidates are turning decidedly blue.

Not sure what the answer is but this bought and paid for politics cannot continue.
