Perhaps no one’s told him about the racists, fascists and fruitcakes in his own party?

He seems to be worried about “mob rule”. He is the Don. We Brits like a peaceful protest - Sunak’s lucky we aren’t all rioting.

At the first mention of 'Britishness' or, even worse, 'patriotism', I flinch and start looking for the nearest barricade or bomb shelter. It's one of those significant flags that indicate the enemy is amongst us.

Democracy obviously means you have to use laser guided missiles, dumb bombs, tanks and 9mm rifle fire to win hearts and minds and win an election, none of that one man one vote nonsense, why thats, thats revolutionary.

Sunak attempting to be Churchillian was laughable. The fact Starmer also supports Sunaks threats to peaceful protests against the genocide in Gaza says it all about about the establishment. They smear the protesters because they have no answers to overwhelming public opinion for an immediate ceasefire. Let's hope George Galloway's victory is the start of the backlash against the mainstream parties.

Sunak's relationships with Modi and business interests based in India make his invocation of anti-muslim slogans and themes extremely problematic.

Nobody ever talks about Hindutva, the Modi relationship with Israel , the fascist RSS which runs India through the BJP or the dependence of billionaires' fortunes on cordial relatinships with government.

What looks, from a distance, like a transparent attempt to divide the Asian community by religion and isolate muslims is troubling of itself. In the context of Sunak's position it makes the Trump 'Russiagate' nonsense look very trivial.
