Snollygosters all

That looks like a fantastic word. I’ve no idea what it means. Is it from The Jabberwocky?

I'd never heard that word before either, but I just looked it up and will DEFINITELY be using it from now on!

"and he’s desperately doomsaying about how a leadership challenge would "plunge the country into chaos"."

could it be possible that he hasn't noticed the country is already in chaos ?

I wonder whether they know more than we do about how this summer is going to unroll. There are currently about five potential apocalypses circling the airport waiting to land.

I’m not generally keen to “benefit of the doubt” these massive shitheads, but if the kind of carnage the doomsayers are talking about actually happens, we probably could well do without the added nonsense of choosing between reeves and Streeting.

(Also let’s be honest, reeves or Streeting would probably be even worse; if we manage to survive the apocalypse, then I’d be keen to get Streeves in asap so that the public gets two years to accrue a suitable level of hatred of them by the next election.)

lol - thanks for giving me a laugh !

Well, you know, like Prince Buster and Madness said, you’ve got to laugh or else you’ll cry!

The current political system and the vast majority of those “elected” to Westminster is a pile of absolute ordure, like something discharged by one of their pet water authorities, and needs to be flushed away post haste.

URL to that old resignation tweet?

Corbyn the friend of the IRA and terrorist organisations everywhere. Anyone who supported "anyone but Corbyn" was at least on the right track.

What nonsense...

Starmer bet everything on the overthrow of Russia, as he hugged Zelensky, without considering that Russia might win.

Starmer bet everything on Israel, without thinking that Iran might win.

He spent more time and money on these overseas adventures than on domestic issues, which are worse now than when he took office.

Sadly I can never vote labour for the reasons above. From one Kier to another. What a crying shame for the working man

All true, including the fact that removing Starmer without orderly transition would produce chaos. Unhappy times.

It’s pointless getting Starmer to go . They are all as bad or possibly Streeting would be worse .
